A judge rejected a proposed settlement between McDonald’s and the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) over the accusation of unfair labor practices by the chain. Administrative Law Judge Lauren Esposito wrote in a ruling issued late Tuesday that the settlement lacked “certain fundamental elements” for it be effective. (Nation’s Restaurant News)

SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane’s Hotel RL, formerly known as the Red Lion at the Park, has been purchased by Worthy Hotels Incorporated, the same company that owns the Davenport hotels in downtown Spokane. Effective July 17, Worthy Hotels will assume management of the 401 room hotel. (KXLY)
