Online travel agency Hotel Bonanza, which offers low commissions to hotels and discounts to consumers, has secured more than 10,000 hotels to list on its site. The platform aims to break the hold large travel companies such as Booking.com and Expedia have on the market by charging hotels a flat rate of 8% for each booking – a notable decrease compared to the 15% to 30% fee typically required by major OTAs.
