Hospitality Association Announces 2017 Legislative Heroes

Annually, the Washington Hospitality Association recognizes lawmakers who are true champions of the hospitality industry’s priorities. “The legislators we’ve chosen this year fight for the hospitality industry time and time again,” said Julia Gorton, director of State Government Affairs. “They were thoughtful and worked hard to be a voice for local businesses even when the odds seem against us.” This year, the Washington Hospitality Association honored four legislators for their work:

  • Joe Fain, R-Auburn
  • Karen Keiser, D-Kent
  • Brandon Vick, R-Felida
  • Springer, D-Kirkland

Additionally, three legislators were given special recognition for their unwavering dedication to the hospitality industry:

  • Mark Mullet, D-Issaquah
  • Matt Manweller, R-Ellensburg
  • Gina McCabe, R-Goldendale

Washington’s New Paid Sick Leave Law Webinar, Nov. 10
