The U.S. Department of the Treasury and the Internal Revenue Service issued guidance to help workers claim their tips and overtime deductions before new tax forms are published next year. The guidance describes, in very specific terms, how employers can report employees’ tipped income for tax year 2025, as many forms will not change before the tax filing season.
