Paid Family & Medical Leave and WA Cares

Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML) is a policy that provides employees with compensated time off to care for their own serious health conditions, bond with a new child or support a family member with a medical need.

WA Cares is a long-term care program enacted by the state Legislature in 2019. Employees in Washington state are assessed a payroll deduction that funds the WA Cares program.
