This year ‘s Washington Lodging Convention is set to be one of the best to date, with workshops addressing critical issues like changes in Washington’s employment law and elevated cybersecurity threats. The FBI’s Cyber Security Task Force will join us to educate you on new threats to the industry, and in the afternoon Clark Nuber is presenting a workshop that will help you get ready to meet these threats and protect your company from the financial impact of a data breach. Employment law workshops will look at what you need to have in place for an uneventful ICE investigation and what you and your managers need to know about Washington’s employment laws and about reducing legal issues in the workplace.

Make plans now to attend and bring your HR and IT managers to maximize these learning opportunities. Keynotes will also inspire your sales and operations team, so consider bringing them as well! The Convention takes place Oct. 22-24 at the Tulalip Resort Casino, and this is a year you can’t afford to miss.
