Comply with the October 1, 2013 deadline of the new Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) notification requirement!

Employers must provide notice to existing employees by Oct. 1, 2013, according to the Department of Labor (DOL). Employees who come on board after Oct. 1 must get the notice within 14 days of their start date with the company. The model notices can be downloaded and distributed to employees via print, or electronically.  Be sure to track when each employee has been given the form. All employees—full and part time, whether eligible for health care benefits or not, regardless of whether the employer provides any health care benefits must receive the notice.
