Washington Restaurant Association Industry Tracking Survey Reveals Economic Impact on Job Outlook

OLYMPIA, Wash.—The Washington Restaurant Association released today the results of its monthly industry tracking survey for January. The figures confirm that restaurant operators in Washington continue to encounter significant economic challenges. Fifty-eight percent of restaurant operators decreased staff hours year over year in January, and 82 percent expect to remain at reduced levels or decrease positions further.
