There are new requirements for employers in the event of a federal agency conducting a Form I-9 inspection. He serves as a public safety and immigration specialist for the policy division\, providing expertise to AGO teams whose work includes organized retail crime\, sexual assault\, youth mental health\, immigration policy\, hate crimes\, missing persons and more. Prior to working for the Washington AGO\, Maxwell worked for Safe & Sound Inc. in Milwaukee where he served first as a community organizer and later as advocacy manager. Maxwell worked closely with community members\, businesses\, law enforcement\, and advocates of all kinds to develop and advocate for community-centric public safety strategies. \nDelaney Hewitt (she/her) is a Policy Analyst at the Washington AGO. Her work focuses on labor/employment and housing issues in Washington State. She started at the Attorney General’s office in November of 2024\, after working as the Political Director on Attorney General Brown’s 2024 campaign. Prior to that\, Delaney worked at the US Attorney’s Office and on several political campaigns in Washington State. \n
